Promoting Bridge in Northern Ireland
The NIBU sent teams to both competitions in 2025. The competitions were held in Newport, Wales. The teams chosen were as follows:

The NIBU would like to extend their congratulations to Luca Crone and Matthew O’Farrell, two Irish juniors who have just won a trophy for the top U26 pair (2nd overall) in the European Presidents Cup.
The Junior Camrose and Peggy Bayer Trophy competitions took place last weekend in Altrincham, England. Well done to both teams for all their hard work in preparation and sterling effort at the weekend. Thanks also to Wayne Somerville, Norman Lacey and Sandie Millership for all their help and encouragement with the two teams. Final results

Aileen Armstrong who will be representing NIBU in the Junior Camrose later this month was a member of the team which won the Surrey Schools Salver held in the Roehampton Club on 7th February
