Starting on Sunday 23rd June, the European Championships are being played in Herning, Denmark. We have a number of players from the NIBU representing Ireland in the Senior Teams event.
Senior Team Ireland comprises Hastings Campbell & Sam Hall; Ian Lindsay & Ian Hamilton; Terry Walsh & BJ O’Brien. NPC – Harold Curran.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE NIBU
The Annual General Meeting of the NIBU took place on Sunday June 16th 2024 at Kelvin & Malone Bridge Centre. Apart from Council Members, there was 35 attendees. The minutes of the AGM will follow shortly. Here are some photos of the presentations.

The Egan Trophy, the IBU All-Ireland Top Teams Championship, was held ‘face to face’ in La Mon Hotel and Country Club, Belfast over the weekend of 25-26 May 2024.

TELTSCHER TROPHY 2024
The Teltscher Trophy was held at Stirling University in Scotland from 17-19 May.
Scotland led the event until the last board when they were overtaken by England who won by a fraction of a VP

Lady Milne Trophy 2024
The Lady Milne Trophy competition was held in the City North Hotel, Gormanstown over the weekend of 19 – 21 April 2024. Well done to our Northern Ireland team on their sterling effort. Final results can be found here.

All members are reminded that the transmission of unauthorised information within a partnership while playing online, is illegal.
This includes sending phone messages and ‘WhatsApps ‘ chats as well as verbal exchanges or sharing of screens. Couples in the same household should ideally play in separate rooms.
