League 2022-23
It is disappointing to learn that Intermediate players are being dissuaded from entering the new League because it is being played on Real Bridge.
Real Bridge has many advantages over other online Bridge sites. Since it features live audio – visual contact with the other players, it is the closest online site yet to actual face-to-face play. It is the only online system which enables leagues to be played on the same basis as face to face – all teams playing simultaneously on the same night using the same boards.

Refresher Course on the Rules for Players and Tournament Directors
Alan Hill is running a refresher course on the rules of bridge on Sunday 28th August at 2.30pm. The venue is Kelvin Malone Bridge Centre. The course is open to everyone at all levels but maybe of particular help to both current and those who would like to be tournament directors.
As we return to face to face bridge many of us have forgotten about leads out of turn & revokes etc while playing online. Alan intends going over all the basic situations and will be happy to answer questions. If you are hoping to attend please let Alan know at clubanddiamond@yahoo.co.uk.
