Stephen’s sudden death while playing the game he loved came as a great shock for his many friends in the bridge playing world in Fermanagh and in the many places he and Ann, his wife and playing partner, regularly visited. Stephen was born in Belfast and spent his working years in Enniskillen where he and Ann made their home with their sons, Adam and Keith.

League 2022-23

It is disappointing to learn that Intermediate players are being dissuaded from entering the new League because it is being played on Real Bridge.

Real Bridge has many advantages over other online Bridge sites. Since it features live audio – visual contact with the other players, it is the closest online site yet to actual face-to-face play. It is the only online system which enables leagues to be played on the same basis as face to face – all teams playing simultaneously on the same night using the same boards.

East Down Pairs Winners

The East Down Pairs competition was held on Sunday 11 September in Kelvin Malone Bridge Centre. The overall winners were Tom Young and Michael McIlroy. The winners of the intermediate section were Pat Braden and Jennifer Bartley. Full results can be found here.
