Request from Shandon Park GC

Shandon Park Golf club is creating a book to celebrate their centenary in 2026. The Bridge section is contributing and is keen to acquire a photograph of Renee McFarlane, a legendary NIBU player and teacher who was a member of Shandon Park GC.

Sonya Britton Trophy (North v South Match)

The Sonya Britton Trophy, a competition played annually between the NIBU and the CBAI, is due to be played in La Mon Hotel and Country Club on the 16/17th August 2025.
The Selection Committee welcomes expressions of interest from Intermediate B (players with less than 2 Red Points) and Intermediate A (players with more than 2 Red Points and less than 10 Red Points).

Players in either of these two categories who are interested in playing in this event can record their interest here.

The Robb Cup

The Robb Cup took place on Monday 3rd March at Derryvolgie Bridge Cub . A big thanks to Frank Young for scoring the event. Results from this prestigious event are as follows:

Greer MacKenzie RIP

It is with great sadness that we have to report the death of Greer MacKenzie, a long standing member and former chairperson of the NIBU. Our deepest sympathy is extended to his wife Moyna and family.
